HANNER will invest 200 million euro in an abandoned area of Zalgiris stadium

HANNER announces a €200 million investment plan to redevelop the former Žalgiris stadium area.

HANNER acquired the former Žalgiris stadium grounds in Vilnius for €40 million and announced a redevelopment programme estimated at €200 million.

The proposal divided delivery into two stages. Most of the site would become a business district combining offices, hotels, hospitality and shopping. A smaller section near the River Neris would accommodate premium housing.

The May 2015 announcement anticipated starting residential construction towards the end of that year and business-district development in 2016. The plans also considered the relationship with a nearby congress centre expected to undergo renovation.
